Brain Aneurysm

When I was in Adams COunty Jail a couple years ago they had Grits once a week for breakfast.. I would put my jelly package and my honey package in them with a pinch of salt.. It was my favourite breakfast they served.. Well I've taken grits home and have been eating them here regularly.. Cant find the grits at King Soopers anymore.. I dont know if they've moved them or what but I havent been able to find them.. So I started trying other stuff.. I got some Farina, and some Cream of Wheat.. YUK!!! I dont like that stuff as much as the grits.. Well last time I was looking for the grits, I found "Malt-O-Meal" And decided to try that.. Thas good stuff!!! I think I like it better than the grits.. :) Got some blueberry jam and some dried blueberries to cook into it.. mmmmm :)

This was GOOD!!!


Ingredients

* 1 pastry dough
* 3 large eggs, at room temperature
* 1 cup sweetened dried cranberries
* 1/4 cup rum
* 1 can (15 oz.) pumpkin puree
* 1 cup heavy cream, at room temperature
* 1/2 cup whole milk, at room temperature
* 3/4 cup packed light brown sugar
* 2 teaspoons finely chopped crystallized ginger or 1 teaspoon ground
* 2 teaspoons cinnamon
* Pinch each cloves and freshly grated nutmeg
* 1/2 teaspoon salt
* 1 cup chilled heavy cream, whipped to soft peaks with 1 tablespoons confectioner sugar

Directions

1. Arrange oven racks in upper and lower thirds of oven. Preheat oven to 375 degree F. Butter and flour a 9-1/2-inch (1-1/2-quart capacity) glass pie dish. Lightly grease a cookie sheet. Roll out dough on a lightly floured surface with a floured rolling pin into a 14-inch round. Brush excess flour from dough and fit into prepared pie dish. Trim edge of dough, leaving a 1-inch overhang; reserve excess dough for decoration. Fold overhang under so it tucks just inside the pie dish. Decoratively flute edge of dough, prick bottom with a fork and chill until firm, about 15 minutes. Roll out remaining dough scraps on a lightly floured surface until 1/4 inch thick. Cut dough with a 3-2/4- by 2-1/3-inch leaf-shaped cookie cutter and transfer to prepared cookie sheet. Lightly beat 1 egg and brush over tops of leaves (reserve remaining egg); chill until firm, about 20 minutes.

2. Line pie shell with foil and fill with pie weights or dried beans. Bake in lower third of oven until middle is set and edges are golden brown, about 15 minutes. Carefully remove foil and pie weights. Brush leaves again with beaten egg. Return pie shell to lower third of oven and place leaf decorations in upper third; bake until middle of shell is golden and leaves are golden brown, about 10 minutes. Transfer pie dish to rack and cool to room temperature. Let leaves cool on pan on rack 3 minutes, then transfer with a spatula to rack to cool completely.

3. Reduce oven temperature to 350 degree F. Stir together cranberries, rum, and 1/4 cup water in a small saucepan; simmer 2 minutes. Let mixture stand, stirring occasionally, 15 minutes. Drain cranberries in a sieve, transfer to a bowl and let stand until cool.

4. Whisk together pumpkin, cream, milk, remaining 2 eggs, brown sugar, ginger, cinnamon, cloves, nutmeg, salt, and cranberry mixture. Brush edge of pie shell with remaining egg. Pour filling into pie shell, spreading evenly, and bake in middle of oven until filling is just set and center trembles slightly when gently shaken, about 50 minutes. Transfer pie to rack, top with leaf decorations, and cool completely. Chill until firm, about 3 hours.

Makes 8 servings.

HELLO BIG RED TRUCK!!! I WANT A HOUSE!!! I'll settle for an apartment.. But that is something Slimeball hasta provide for me.. So Joshua can get me some HOUSEPLANTS for my apartment.. When Slimeball moved me out of THIS LIVING ROOM..

I had houseplants.. LOTS OF THEM!!! 6 foot tall houseplants.. I had two big cornplants and a big fern looking one.. And One that had these HUGE leaves that grew on a long single stem.. Nice... healthy.. Big.. Houseplants.. That big planter there in front of the door had "Vining" houseplants that I had growing all over the living room walls.. That single hook in the ceiling wasn't the only one I had plants hanging from.. It had that big picture window facing south that let the ULTIMATE amount of sunlight in there and with the hardwood floors I just flooded the plants cuz it was easy to get a towel and wipe it up.. Jan and I spent a summer going to garage sales and we bought every houseplant we found.. That was the final summer I worked my carreer before my injury and I had a wallet full of money and was going to Home Depot and buying their nice big houseplants they had on display there.. That living room was GREEN!!! That is why TERRINA smiled so big when she seen her free ride thru that horticulture class..
So for Christmas I want a buncha houseplants and a LIVING ROOM WITH SUNLITE TO PUT THEM IN!!! Thats a normal, fulfillable, human, christmas wish.. Thats an easy one too all ya hafta do is buy a gift card at O'Tooles and let me go get my own.. And all Slimeball hasta do is pull some of MY MONEY out of his bank and rent a place to put them.. (Cant keep them here in moms basement.. Had like three when I got here and they are dead..) So lets see if I have any more luck with this wish than I've had with my previous two years christmas wish..
(Havent seen a courtroom with Kelly Bailey standing at a podium so.. Those gift requests have been denied.. Or ignored??? Yeah Slimeballs ignorance fits..)

Got Jans addy so I can send her an Amaryllis.. Dont know where I'm gunna get 10 bucks to buy one... Slimeball aint gunna give me money to buy flowers for my wife.. Flowers are a "waste of money" to him... I got the ones for home here when he bought the ingredients for my chile.. (Threw them in the shopping cart when he wasnt looking.)
I'll find a way to get her an amaryllis tho... Always do.. I've sent her one every year since she left.. Well.. I've tried.. Sometimes the chemicals in my brain are telling me to chase crack.. So I dont have the money to spend on a flower for her.. GAWD I'm stoopid.. Glad I dont do that shit anymore.. Slimeball got paid a lot of money to get me addicted to it tho...
O yeah.. This is a pie entry... I am really impressed with my pie.. That is the first one I've ever baked and it WAS GOOD!!! Its gone now.. and I made TWO of them.. LOL

ON MY BED!!! I usta have a house that I had a cat door on so they could get in and out on their own... And I never even had a cat box.. The cats used the cat door and went outside!!! Well then I had a brain aneurysm bleed and my "Adopted father" (He is not my real dad) He decided I did not need that house anymore and he moved me back into moms basement.. It was under the condition that HE KEPT THE CAT BOX!!! Since I never even had one... He went out and bought this one... And the cats dont like to use it!!! Especially when he wont change it when its full... And he expects me to sift thru the gravel pulling out the old stuff.. NO!!! Thats his job!!! I dump it when its full.. Thats ALL!!! They still dont climb in there... He's collecting disability money to provide me a house to live in where I have a cat door.. And he's forcing me to live in this basement... Do you think I LIKE waking up and finding this on my bedroom floor?? My cats are NOT NEGLECTED!!! We are ALL being forced to live under conditions that are unacceptable while he banks all of my money.. I have 4 cats living in this bedroom right now.. In a BEDROOM!!! Not a house..

Why is it I am the one in this house who does 70% of the cooking and I am not included on the trip to the grocery store??? My truck is out of gas in front of the house as it has been for two days now.. Slimeball has all of my money locked up tight in his bank... Cats are shitting on the floor here in the room again cuz he still hasnt withdrawn money to rent me an apartment.. yeah yeah waaa waaa.. *sniffle* >:(

The dreadlock queen who weaved my hair.. I have a buncha different size dreadlocks... She mixed it up pretty good with different thickness of dreads.. On the sides by my ears she made these little tiny skinny ones.. (I'm guessing cuz I dont have much hair there) I told her.. "I LIKE THOSE!! Can you tear the fat ones apart and divide them into small ones like these.." She said.. "Yes I know how to do it but it depends a lot on your hair and how it will react to it.. She said she'd hafta just try one of them and see how it goes.." So I told her I'd be calling her back cuz I want her to do that and I want to get my hair lightened.. Its like I'm not even blonde anymore.. My beard is dark and my hair is dark.. My eyebrow is dark.. LOL Yes I said "Eyebrow" as in Singular.. I wonder if she could weave that??? I'm sure she could do my nose hairs too.. those buggars are long enuf.. LOL :)

I grew up with Sean... He was my best friend between the ages of 17 and 21 or so... I met him when I was 17 and he was a prep cook at Villiage Inn and I was a dishwasher.. Then he started dating my sister and... He left like when we were 20 or so.. Maybe 21?? I dont remember for sure.. But he's in town to visit his parents and stopped by here.. Its funny when my old friends walk in the kitchen.. They get this look on their face... :-0 ANd they say.. THIS PLACE HAS NOT CHANGED.. Sean has tho.. If I were to meet him for the first time today I'd kinda think he was a dick.. LOL I wouldnt hang out with him...
He's done well for himself.. He's such a pompous ass.. Thinks he's gods gift to the whirled... What a dick.. He's still my friend tho.. LOL :)

When ya compare it to the roofing work I was doing 10 years ago..

I woulda fired me too... He gave me the roof a week ago and I havent even got the snow shoveled off it yet... But Slimeball collected a settlement 5 years ago... So its all good..

To get her butt up out of that shed and go to work.. She has stood me up now for three days in a row.. I talked to Thomas and he said he will go in the morning.. I'll call Michelle and if she dont answer the phone she's fired..

FUCK!!! I cant go out there by myself.. I need assistance to clean the snow off that roof.. Its hard to do that shit by yerself cuz... I can get up there and do it but I need someone there in case I fall off and break my ass.. I need someone there who can help me.. If I slide off the roof with my harness on I need someone to lower me to the ground.. I cant just hang there from the roof by a rope HOPING someone will come by.. Not to mention I hafta get to the top of the roof first to nail the anchor down...
